Detailed examinations of the mother-to-b

When there is doubt of female infertility, more detailed applications and examinations can be done if deemed necessary by our doctors.
  • Hormonal panel is the integrity of examinations to measure the hormones which are direclty or indirectly effective in the functioning of the ovarian. These tests are FSH, LH, E2, Prolactin, T3, T4 and TSH. Increase or decrease of these hormon values have negative effects on the female ovulation.
  • L/S (laparoscopy) In the diagnosis stage (diagnostic Laparoscopy), an examination can be made to see whether the tubes are open, there are wide mass and adhesiveness in the ovum, to determine the general condition of the structure of the uterus or it can be applied for treatment purposes like removin myoma and mass (Operative Laparoscopy).
  • H/S (hyteroscopy) Lookin into the inside of the uterus with a very thin optical tool. With hysterescopy, whether there are conditions that may hinder development of pregnancy, morphologic distortions in uterus, adhesiveness, myoma-like-formations can be directly seen and be intervened.
  • HSG (hysterosalpingogram)This radiological method is also known as uterus film and helps viewing whether there are irregularity in the appearance of the uterus structure, wide mass, obstruction in the tubes.
  • Sonohisterogram It is a simple intra uterine examination method. Normal saline is given into the uterus by means of catheter through the reservoir. The uterus is filled while being followed at the same time by ultrasonography and attempt is made to observe the formations, if any, in the uterus (myoma, pollip). In addition to the examination, it is an easy test which is done when any doubtful condition is determined in the ultrasonography and it contributes greatly to the diagnosis.
